Keeping low levels of CO2 at home and in the office boosts health and productivity. The vAir - CO2 Monitor allows you to monitor those values and act accordingly.
Both types of devices need to be exposed to fresh air each 3 days so that they operate accurately. As with most CO2 Meters, there is some drift in the technical specifications of the CO2 Sensors. Therefore an ABC (Automatic Baseline Correction) algorithm is implemented which monitors which is the lowest CO2 level in the range of 3 days and sets this as 400 ppm (which is the expected outdoor level of CO2). Usually it is enough if the room with the CO2 sensor is not occupied for 5-6 hours, or when the room is intensively ventilated (Which is anyway necessary for healthy life :) )
The setup of Wifi, Online Reporting and other options is done by connecting the device via a Micro USB cable to a Windows or Mac computer and then installing a Chrome App. Afterwards the device can work standalone
