Usb HID keypad

In order to get the most out of this keypad you should know how to program an Arduino. However, if you don't I can do it for you, just let me know which keys you want to do what.

I was trying to learn Ki cad, which has a lot of keyboard short cuts, I found it very inconvenient to look for the keys on the keyboard every time, so I got myself a micro pro put it into a nice case and programmed each button as a shortcut key press, since then I move further I use the seven bottom buttons as keys and if pressed together with the top left button I have a second function stored in each of the 7 lower buttons.

What makes it special?

A button press can be as simple as typing an "a" to the screen or as complicated as typing your whole address. I use it like this:

• button 1 = ctrl + c =copy
• button 2 = ctrl + v =paste
• button 3 = ctrl + n =new
• button 4 = ctrl + s =save
• button 5 = ctrl + w =close
• button 6 = ctrl + p =print
• button 7 = ctrl + h =find and replace

Press left top button and then one of the 7 lower ones

• button 1 = "company address"
• button 2 = "insurance number"
• button 3 = free right now
• button 4 = free right now
• button 5 = "my home address"
• button 6 = "my email address"
• button 7 = "home computer password"
