Our newest kit has everything you need to build an LM317T variable power supply. It is a classic beginners electronic kit designed around the LM317T 3-Terminal Adjustable Voltage Regulator in what is known as the TO-220 package. It is capable of supplying in excess of 1.0 Amps over a range of 1.5volts to 25volts DC output. This kit comes with the PCB and parts needed to build a variable 1-amp (or more), highly regulated DC Power Supply. It requires a DC input from a Battery or DC voltage source (5 V to 25V) such as a wall-mount type or phone charger or even a 9 volt battery. The DC input voltage must be at least 2.5v higher than the desired DC output voltage. A heat sink (supplied) may be needed for the LM317T, depending on your application. You will need soldering tools and basic soldering skills. It comes with everything needed. The PCB is 1 5/8" x 2", double-sided, PCB Thickness - 1.6mm, FR-4, with Silk Screening
