Why did I make it?

The classic TagConnect 2.54mm pitch 2x3 or 2x5 connector is incompatible with the cables and connecters delivered with popular JTAG programming/debug tools like the ST-Link (2x5 1.27mm) or J-Link(2x10 2.54mm). Also I could not find any existing adapters that would allow easy connection of the TAG-CONNECT cable.

How do you use it?

Start by connect your TagConnect cable depending on its pin count to either one of the two 2.54mm pitch, available connectors which are marked TAG-CONNECT. Next if you are using an STLINK connect it to the 10 pin 1.27mm pitch connector marked JTAG-10P or if you are using a JLINK connect to the 20 pin 2.54mm pitch connector marked JTAG-20P. Happy debugging from now on!

Additionally there is a VoltLink connector which will connect the standard 6pin VoltLink signals to the jtag signals which end up on either one of these connectors so you could repurpose a tag-connect footprint to connect to some GPIOs or a UART interface using the VoltLink USB to Serial Adapter.
