GreenSnow

GreenSnow is a gorgeous snowflake. Its shape is designed carefully based on a photo of real snowflakes. Its decorative lines are golden and set in a green background. All its corners are rounded.

GreenSnow sparkles with 25 LEDs. They are small WS2812B-2020 RGBs. Their arrangement is symmetric and hexagonal. With a controller such as Arduino, GreenSnow will shine with endless effects.

GreenSnow is fully-assembled and tested. Three wires (Vcc=5V, GND, DIN)and a bit soldering are required for you to connect it with your favourite controller board. Some example sketches and code are available for you to download from my Github pages.

Why did you make it? And what makes it special?

The shape of GreenSnow is designed by reconstructing a real snowflake. There are many different shapes of snowflakes. They are all beautiful. But not all of them suitable for manufacturing. The end result is the GreenSnow with many hexagons.
