What is it?

An external, low profile add on board to add an external CC1101 board and antenna to the Flipper Zero. It is universal and can be used with either an EByte CC1101 module or a generic CC1101 module.

Why did you make it?

To simplify adding an external CC1101 module to the Flipper in a low profile manner.

What makes it special?

This board only uses the left set of headers to connect to the Flipper to keep the footprint smaller. In order to do this, it requires the 5V power to be turned on in the Flipper GPIO menu. Also includes a diode for reverse polarity protection, should it be connected backwards by accident. While some similar modules may wire the 5V directly to the CC1101, which requires 3.3V, this module uses a voltage regulator to step the voltage down to the required 3.3V. In addition, the power indicator LED is connected to the 3.3V line so that you can tell the regulator is working properly. The big feature of this module though is that you can adapt it for either an EByte CC1101 or a generic CC1101 by cutting the traces on the back and soldering the other side of the jumpers on the back. By doing this, the pin out of the connector can be adapted to the different modules. By default, it is shipped configured for the EByte model.
