What is it?

The Mayfly Data Logger is a powerful, user-programmable microprocessor board that can be easily programmed with several popular IDE software programs like the Arduino IDE. It features the ATmega1284p processor, which is much more powerful than the 328p chip found on most other boards. It has 4 times more flash memory for sketches, 8 times more RAM, and almost twice as many input pins as standard boards.

Why are you selling it?

This is a single board programmable data logger intended for do-it-yourself water quality monitoring. Similar to a Ardunio or Raspberry Pi, these type of boards can connect to sensor and breakout boards for customized functionality for monitoring and datalogging projects.

This is the board by itself, no additional components are included in the sell price. If a buyer is interested in the components of the full startup kit, please contact me and I can provide some but not all of the startup component, at additional cost, such as the plastic enclosure shown in the photo.

I am reselling this board because I have moved to a new supplier. This product is used, I bought the startup kit about 5 years ago for $250, but it has only been used in a lab/office indoor environment. The board has been tested and is 100% functional. Nonetheless, I am selling "as-is" because it is possible something is not perfect that I wasn't able to find during bench testing. If the buyer has a valid operational issue with the board, I will accept returns up to 30 days. With the microchip shortage, the value of this type of item has increased.
