Read More…The Backplane4 can be used to build small RCBus or RC2014 system using CPU, memory, mass storage, and serial I/O modules, for example, Z80 CPU, 512 KiB SRAM, and 512 KiB Flash ROM module, RCBus CFModule, and Steve Cousins' SC716 Z80 SIO/2 or SC725 Z80 SIO/2 and CTC modules.
The Backplane4 has 4 vertical 80-pin RCBus connectors and 1 horizontal (right angle) 80-pin connector, that can be used to extend the Backplane if needed.
The RCBus is an extension to the RC2014 specifications and it is compatible with the RC2014 modules.
The kit includes all the components necessary to build the Backplane4.
