What is it?

The CFexpress PCIe Hat is an open-source hardware project designed for the Raspberry Pi 5, aimed at enabling direct connection with CFexpress Type B cards. This innovative Hat facilitates high-speed data transfer and storage solutions, making it an essential tool for Raspberry Pi users who require advanced storage capabilities. Why did you make it?

This project was created to enhance the Raspberry Pi 5 by providing a high-speed storage solution that leverages the advanced capabilities of CFexpress Type B cards. Recognizing the limitations of existing storage options for Raspberry Pi users, the CFexpress PCIe Hat was developed to offer a more robust, efficient, and versatile storage solution. It caters to the needs of hobbyists, educators, and professionals who demand high-speed data processing and storage capabilities for their projects.
