The DaisyBoard-DC is an open-source motor controller designed for robotics enthusiasts, makers, and engineers. Originally developed for our DIY quadruped robot, this compact board integrates I2C-controlled PID motor control, CAN bus communication, and an ESP32-C3 microcontroller—all in a tiny, stackable package.

Power Options: 5-24V DC input via XT-30 or USB-C.
Daisy-Chain Power & Communication: XT-30 power output allows stacking or daisy-chaining multiple boards.
H-Bridge Motor Control: Supports 24V, 13A motor control with full PWM range.
Current Sensing: Customizable current sense resistor slot.
CAN Bus Networking: Dual CAN bus ports with onboard TJA1050T transceiver.
Configurable CAN Addressing: DIP switch network allows 16 unique addresses.
I2C Expandability: 5V level-shifted I2C port (Adafruit Stemma QT & Sparkfun QWIIC compatible), plus support for SEEED Grove and non-level-shifted I2C.
Versatile GPIO: Includes JST-SH 4-pin and 3-pin headers for external peripherals.
