UbiOne, an excellent partner for your Raspberry Pi.

UbiOne is an STM32 development board, built around the STM32F411 chip and a set of peripherals. It works as a standalone board but also as a HAT for your Raspberry Pi (3 or 4). You can use UbiOne to connect your IoT project to a 4G or 5G mobile broadband*, control servos or give your RPI a new level of interactability.

Main Features

UbiOne is built around the STM32F411 chip and includes a rich set of peripherals:

Mini PCIe socket: Add LTE cards for 4G or 5G connectivity, giving your IoT projects the ability to communicate over mobile broadband*.
Sensors: UbiOne comes with a gyro and accelerometer (BMI270), a barometer (DPS310), and a magnetometer (QMC5883L) for versatile sensing applications.
Audio: An onboard microphone (SPH0645) and a buzzer (KLJ-4020) offer audio input and output capabilities.
Pin Headers: Several pin headers allow for easy development and expansion of your projects.
RPI Power Management: UbiOne can power off your Raspberry Pi completely, conserving energy when not in use.
Powerful STM32 Core: STM32F411 with 100 MHz and 512 Kbytes of flash memory serves as the central core of the board.

*NOTE: you will need an LTE card to connect to mobile broadband. I have tested the board with 4G Quectel EC25 Mini PCIe and 5G SIM8200EA-M2 (with Mini PCIe to M.2 adaptor)

UbiOne can be programmed using the well-known software Arduino IDE. I have created a GitHub repository that gives detailed explanations of how to program the board. Additionally, the repository makes available information about the board, such as pinouts, schematics, and several examples to use UniOne.

It currently contains examples of how to use UbiOne to control a simple servo, drive an RC car with a PS4 controller or ExpressLRS radio, or use it as a flight controller for drone.
