Why did you make it?

I like the good old Gameboy and really want to make something cheap and easy to build for that device. Nintendo ROM games are not allowed to download on third party sites, so with this tool you can dump your own collection legally.

What makes it special?

I wanted to use only classic component for the hardware easy findable on the net. Board microprocessor uses its own native USB transfer protocol so it's fast even for the large games, no need for any extra USB transceiver. I have made the choice to have fully open source hardware & software parts. All of the part list is easy to solder, even for a complete beginner, so everyone can make it. You can also buy me a ready to use dumper.
