We created this spot welder to address the common challenges of welding precision and compatibility in DIY and professional battery pack assembly. Many existing options on the market lack fine-tuning power settings or struggle to maintain consistent weld quality over extended use. Our design incorporates advanced MOSFET technology, a powerful current-handling capacity, and adjustable power levels to meet the needs of various users, from hobbyists to professionals. 1. Flexible Power Supply Options

This control board is designed to work with various power sources for maximum flexibility: Lead-acid batteries: 12V, 20AH-100AH (old batteries preferred; new batteries should not exceed 45AH). Supercapacitors: 4-5 strings with sufficient capacity for stable performance. RC model batteries: 3S-4S, 25C-60C, with 6-10AWG wires and XT60 connectors. Car jump starters: Must feature an EC5 interface for compatibility. Note: Do not use switching power supplies, transformers, chargers, power banks, or unregulated power sources, as these can damage the control board.

How to Use It

Prepare the Power Supply: Connect a compatible power source based on the guidelines provided (lead-acid battery, supercapacitor, RC battery, or car jump starter). Adjust the Power Setting: Use the 99-level adjustment knob to set the power level appropriate for your material and thickness. Start Welding: Position the welding pen precisely on the material and apply light pressure to ensure a clean and secure weld.

Note

Always use a compatible power supply to avoid damaging the control board. For lead-acid batteries, avoid using new batteries with capacities above 45AH unless special current-limiting measures are applied. Keep the working environment clean and free from moisture to ensure optimal welding performance. Follow safety precautions, such as wearing gloves and eye protection, when operating the spot welder.
