What is it?

This is an upgraded HackRF One SDR platform (1MHz–6GHz) preloaded with Mayhem firmware v1.7.3, designed for developers, hackers, and radio enthusiasts. It supports both transmission and reception of RF signals across a wide frequency range, making it ideal for RF development, signal testing, GPS spoofing (with PortaPack H2), and SDR learning.

As DIY developers ourselves, we understand the importance of hardware stability, firmware flexibility, and future-proof design. That’s why we’re offering the R9-upgraded HackRF One: better clock stability, more accurate tuning, and improved antenna power control — all pre-configured with the latest Mayhem firmware for out-of-the-box experimentation.

What makes it special?

R9 Upgrade Hardware Enhancements

MAX2837 replaced with MAX2839 for improved RF performance. Si5351C replaced by Si5351A with enhanced clock distribution. Antenna power circuit now includes a protective series diode for extra safety.
