What is it?

This is a dual-band mini loop antenna kit specifically designed for VHF and UHF applications. The kit includes two high-efficiency toroidal-style loop antennas—one tuned for the VHF band (80MHz–150MHz, 10cm diameter) and one for the UHF band (400MHz–470MHz, 5cm diameter). Both antennas are equipped with standard SMA male connectors, making them compatible with a wide range of SDR receivers, including HFDY, Malahiteam DSP, DSP2, and other handheld spectrum analyzers or amateur radio devices.

Why did you make it?

We developed this compact, efficient loop antenna kit to meet the needs of SDR hobbyists, ham radio enthusiasts, and RF engineers who require portable, tunable antennas with reliable performance across VHF and UHF frequencies. Traditional whip antennas often struggle with selectivity, sensitivity, or form factor—this mini loop design offers a better signal-to-noise ratio in compact setups, especially for indoor and urban environments. It also supports transmitting functions, making it ideal for short-range experiments and compact QRP setups.
