The initial Revision 2.0 have a slight bug, where USR1 button is not functional. $5 off for Rev 2.0 boards. Other funcionality not affected.

What is it?

This board is an ESP32-S2-based Wifi Fancontroller.

It allows you to control up to 4 independant PWM Fans and read temperature & humdity at the installed location. E.g. you can use a standard 12V 120mm Noctua PC fan as an exhaust for a PC inside a cupboard.

UPGRADE: Rev2.0 with ESP32-S2, programmable via USB.

Why did you make it?

I'm using it in my network racks for ventilation. Put 2x 120mm PWM fans on top for exhaust, add a internal fan for circulation and you're good to go.

Software Stack

This PCB comes pre-flashed with an ESPHome Factory Image or can be reflashed via a USB.

WARNING: Currently, ESPHome Web Flasher or other web flashers do not work well with ESP32-S2. Please use Adafruit ESPTool or python esptool to flash the board. Command example: python -m esptool --chip esp32s2 --port COM6 write_flash 0x0 wifi-fancontroller-s2.factory.bin

Printed Case

By default, the case is printed in silver PLA with black lettering. For custom combinations, please contact me for available options.
