The CC2538 is much powerful comparing with CC2530, up to 100 devices can be connected directly, however number of direct children in ZigBee mesh does not determine the maximum size of the installation. See also the zigbee2mqtt FAQ. CC2592 extends distance up to 100m (in some cases up to 400m)
