Open Source CC2652P LAN ZigBee 3.x Coordinator

It's using CC2652P TI chip, the most powerful (+20dB) and can be used as ZigBee Coordinator/Router in various Smart Home installations including the Zigbee2MQTT, Home Assistant (ZHA), ioBroker ,etc. and comes pre-flashed with the latest Z-Stack 3.x with 2 LED for indication. It's an upgrade of previous CC2530/CC2538/CC2538+CC2592 in terms of CPU,RAM,FLASH.

Designed to work in 2 modes:

Standard USB coordinator (connected to a RPI4 or another system by USB).
LAN Coordinator: with the WT32-ETH01 (LAN Adapter), can be connected to ZHA or Z2M using Ethernet port. No need of passthrough in case you using VM.

Outstanding Example of DIY excellence

I found the product while looking for a Zigbee/LAN Gateway. The support website ist absolute excellent and provides detailed information to get started right away and also helps you after that. The product itself as been manufactured with a lot of thought. Not firmware has many options and make getting started very easy.
The price is very attractive for what it offers.
The only thing I regret is not buying more :)

Super coordinator!

If you like open-source and stable hardware, this is the coordinator you want! It is very easy to set up and comes preflashed with the correct software. Once hooked up and configured with Zigbee2MQTT, it just works like you expect without any hick-ups (unlike other coordinators). Note that this Gateway also uses the WT32-ETH01 ESP32 board which is also great! I didn't test the Wi-Fi or USB feature because I use it on a specific location with only ethernet available, but the ethernet part works like you expect, The Wi-Fi seems like a backup to me, but not the main feature to use on this product.

Item never arrived. Was it ever shipped

Seller provided invalid DHL Tracking-ID.
Promised to resend article but nothing happended...

Very easy to use device

This gateway was very easy to set up. I just bought it because a poe version is pretty much not available at all. So an external poe extractor was required for me. Until the extractor arrived, I used it via WLAN which was a very unstable experience. I guess the 2.4GHz WiFi antenna right next to the 2.4GHz Zigbee chip totally destroyed Zigbee communications due to capacitive coupling and hf interferrence into the zigbee hf frontend. So this device is unusable via WLAN. But this isn't the use-case anyways.

All in all, it comes with great software and works absolutely reliable when connected via ethernet.

Worth purchasing the product!

After updating the firmwares, everythign was smooth. Coming from a different coordinator, this deffinitely made our homes' automation sooooo much reliable!

works perfect

The device works perfect with different kind of zigbee devices (power plug, temp sensors) and different manufacturers (xiaomi, Lidl, Ikea). i use Home Assistant with ZigBee2MQTT. the only not so nice thing is, that there is currently no case available for this gateway.

It just works, buy it

I think I bought about 4 different dongles and gateways to use with Home Assistant, and all of them had different issues. If you are serious about home automation, you want to make things work, rather than having to fix things every couple days.

So far, the ZigStar LAN Gateway is the only device which allowed me to forget about my Zigbee network, because there are no issues with it whatsoever. Zero. Even after 6+ months of usage, I never encountered any problems. It works with the wide range of different Zigbee devices I have at home, from IKEA, Xiaomi Aqara, Sonoff, etc. This is by far the best Zigbee product I have ever used. Rock solid, highly recommended. I sincerely thank the developer for creating this awesome product.

Great device with a lot of functionality

I'm relatively new to this topic so I ordered the fully assembled version. The web interface provides lot of information what's currently going on and the OTA firmware update is a great addition.
A problem occured and the seller responded with an amazing support. Not only was the problem fixed, the seller also took his time to double check that everything is working from ha to the device and vice versa.

World class product!

I feel like there are very few LAN capable coordinators out there, so its already unique. But was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to setup, and how rock solid the performance of this is. With a LAN coordinator its super easy to set it up with docker instances, plus you can move it around wherever you like, lots of homes have ethernet cables and sockets all over the place, very few have usb cables in that manner so it makes a lot of sense to have something like this.

Great gateway and excellent service from seller

The gateway itself is excellent, I had a few troubles flashing from Windows 10 but switching to a Unix box it was a simple process following the instructions on the site. The seller Radu provides excellent service, the first gateway sent got lost by UPS and Radu kindly sent out another
