What is it?

This is a ePaper device that will take an 600 by 400 jpeg of a photo ID or image and will use an 4.01 eInk display to clone it. It can also run a program that will automatically update the display if it is still connected to a raspberry pi. Note, you will be given enough backing material to cover the back side of the badge but, reprogramming the system will require you to remove the backing. This system is only validated with the Raspberry Pi Model 3 A+ .

Why did you make it?

I made this to see how off the shelf components can be used to have a physical red teaming tool to test organizations security. I am also studying on how this can be used to improve security of groups of people.

What makes it special?

The thing that makes this special is that it can be programmed and or reprogrammed in the field in real time where other solutions would require you to have a printer or other system that would take much longer periods of time. Also, the system is lightweight and you can carry it yourself.
