What is it?

The RedBot BoosterPack is a BoosterPack to be used with TI's 40 Pin LaunchPad ecosystem to take advantage of the SparkFun RedBot line of products.

Why did you make it?

To enable user's who want to get start in low cost robotics. SparkFun has a great ecosystem of robotics peripherals and I wanted to add more microcontroller options that will work with their products.

What makes it special?

The board is the same size and and shape as the board made by SparkFun so it allows you to completely replace their RedBot board to get started using the LaunchPad ecosystem

• Motor Driver on board
• Works with 40 Pin LaunchPad Ecosystem
• Fits right in to the SparkFun RedBot ecosystem and mounts on top of their "Magician Chassis"
• Energia library ported from SparkFun Arduino library. Sketches should be compatible across devices
• Breakout pins for connecting additional peripherals like sensors/servos/buzzers/leds to make your robot more interesting
• All software and hardware is open source
