What is it?

It's a 36 LED stack of neopixels joy with an integrated microphone, running MicroPython:

• Audio reactive LEDs
• Custom acrylic-ready, to show off your creative animations
• Stepped structure to elimate gaps between edge-lit panels
• Touch-enabled to switch between all its range of features

Why did you make it?

Modern LEDs and microcontrollers allow us to make cooler audio visualizers, so why not try a low-res equivalent of Spectroid? Additionally, for the love of music, vibes, and the juicy potential to emulate/develop synesthesia.

What makes it special?

The spectrogram can help you see sound :) The menu, with deep and shallow modes, can allow you control over the visuals on display. The graphics are also able to be customized by us or anyone with a laser cutter. It's open source too. Twiddle away.
