What is it?

Milwaukee M18 battery pack adapter for portable use with MiniWare TS100 or TS101(or similar) soldering irons, for off-grid use in RC, drone, amateur radio, automotive, HVAC, electrical and electronics troubleshooting, appliance repair, or solar panel service. This kit is also compatible with many generic 12-24VDC soldering irons with DC5525 power sockets.

Note: The item on sale is a kit including the M18 adapter clip and cable. The user must provide their own M18 battery pack and charger, as well as their own soldering iron.

Why did you make it?

The MiniWare TS100/101 soldering irons are compact, powerful, and versatile. Their primary drawback is requiring a 110/220vac power supply. Being able to go "off-grid" opens up a wide variety of potential use-cases:
