Great little project with an amazing sound!

This is a great and easy little project with amazing sound! Also there is loads of room to experiment (changing the decay resistor for longer decay times etc.).

As the previous comments said, either connect the trigger tip to accent jack switch via 1N4148 diode (black band on the diode towards the accent) or connect +12V to the accent permanently. The sound is a bit different in either case so try both and pick the one you like.

easy build and a great sounding kick

No problems with this build except the V+ accent wiring. By way of wading through an exhaustive thread I finally decided to use a trimpot voltage divider which works great. Love the sound of this thing. After building a simple cmos clock divider I can make the dark analog techno of my dreams.

Any Decay mods? I almost want even more decay. I think I read that it was dependent on the transistors.

awesome

Awesome. as described, it works great, bangs hard. the Muff Wiggler thread is very important for debugging, some of the info could be mentioned on the product page, in particular that accent should be shorted to the +V by default.
Mouser BOM had a few resistors too many, but its a value of a few cents only.

You're right - I should explain the accent here. Optionally you can wire it to a jack - and have voltage control over the loudness of the kick. However - it requires some amount of voltage to make any sound. (More voltage gives you a louder sound.) So a lot of people prefer to tigh the accent high (solder a wire between the tip connection of the jack - and the positive leg of your power supply) - thus losing voltage control over loudness - and opting instead for a high velocity kick every time it's triggered.
