Ok programmer but needs some fine tuning

For ESP8266 (ESP-07/12) Full I/O Breadboard Adapter

Programmer works as expected after connecting all the pins from module to breadboad. But why power supply is not taken from USB cable?

Hello Juha,
Yes I also want to be able to power from USB. The problem is when FTDI Basic is configure to 3.3V, it's VCC cannot supply enough current. So I have to use an external pin.

Not for Arduino IDE

Excellent board if you are programming with the SDK ... but not Arduino IDE

Has anyone gotten it to work some Arduino code? a mere blink ...
I have a 12E board and set it up as nodemcu 1.0 ... but I get nothing ...

that not the problem ... it works perfectly.
The problem is mapping pins ...

Hello,
If you want to use the board with Arduino IDE, please press/hold the RST/PRG button for 1 second before click the upload button. This will work.
I have been using NodeMCU as well without problem. Just make sure you flash the right image. For me I'm using ESP8266Flasher.exe with nodemcu_float_0.9.6-dev_20150627.bin.
