Nice polished device!

For Salt Sentry - Water softener monitor

Does what it says on the tin! Documentation was great and the device itself was simple to set up and seems to work just as described.

I used the included double-sided tape to attach it to the lid of my softener's brine tank, took some measurements for what the full and empty levels were, and followed the manual to set it up with my WiFi SSID and MQTT credentials. Added the config from the manual to my Home Assistant instance and it started receiving salt levels without any hassle, added a few bags of new salt tonight and the level went up as expected. Looking forward to fewer instances of running out of salt going forward!

Wonderful invention to solve a niche, but important need!

Many thanks for building such a polished device!

Keep in mind you'll need to prepare a nearby power source. Most people should have an outlet available from the water softener.
To be more careful with the tiny microUSB port, so I added a magnetic USB cable for powering the salt sentry.

Awesome little device

For Salt Sentry - Water softener monitor

I ordered this because I constantly forget to fill my water softener. I wanted the measurement sent to my Home Assistant server so my Magic Mirror setup could then read it and display this data in a nice UI.

This sensor worked perfectly out of the box. Plug it in, search for it with your phone, set up some configurations such as wifi credentials, mqtt connection info, and measurements for the tank itself and it was good to go. I did have to adjust the measurements a few times after I positioned it with double sided 3M tape. I look forward to watching this measurement change as the tank slowly depletes.

I'm very glad this solution exists. Great work.

As plug-n-play as you can get it

For Salt Sentry - Water softener monitor

Works wonderfully and as plug-n-play as you can get it.
Minor point:
- Wish it came with doublesided 3m tape. I didn't have any at home so it required a quick trip out to the hardware store.
- Wish the documentation includes default values for various types of water softeners. But that's easily solved with some quick measuring.

Other than that it works beautifully with my Home Assistant setup after creating the necessary sensors.

Valid point, I should indeed include a piece of tape, will add it to any subsequent orders.
I will also see if I can include a list of water softeners and recommended empty/full levels, so if anyone has proper values for a certain water softener, please send me a message.

Awesome!!!!

For Doorbell modernizr 2

After buying the Doorbell Modernizr 2 i have had a couple of small issue's.

So after contacting for support i received a quick reply with handson tips and support which helped me quickly to resolve the issue's.
And i am so happy with the result.

if you dont have specific need for a video doorbell this should be your purchase.
Now i simply get a push notification on my phone when someone is at my door.

Thanks very much for creating this awesome device.

I greatly recommend this.
