Rapid Delivery. Well Packaged. Provider responsive.

For C12666MA Micro-Spectrometer

The unit works perfectly and is well made. My unit was supplied without calibration data, but the provider responded rapidly when I requested it. The Arduino code provided on the suppliers site was hard to find, but works perfectly. A better level of documentation including a schematic and a safety advisory for the laser would turn this product from good into great. I have a number of projects in mind but top of the list is a colour calibrator for monitors to generate an ICC profile.

Perfect as always

For Shuttered Flir Lepton Thermal Camera and Breakout

Best breakout of any chip ever. Plugs directly into Nucleo 401 and 411 (no breadboard required!). I recommend using one of those boards since they are like $10, so you can verify you are doing stuff right before switching to a different board.

The FLIR Lepton does not suffer from motion blur as some other low-end thermal cameras do, and the Flat Field Correction that the shutter allows you to perform is essential for any serious application. Pure Engineering gets developers up and running as quickly as possible with starter code that works out of the box and a helpful developer community forum.
