Simple but good quality product

Apparently you can't ship these devices to the UK

For SHT31-ARP Analog Humidity and Temperature Sensor

I bought two of these back in December 2018. One of the boards didn't work so I substituted the other one. It has worked perfectly since until about a month ago. It started to give wrongful readings so I thought all I had to do was order another one. However, I find that you can't ship to UK despite the fact that they are produced there! This is a crazy situation. My weather station is utterly dependent on this device and you say you have them in stock. Surely you can make special provision to send one to me? I would order two if it helped the situation.

Have received it and it is a really good sensor

For Si7051 ±0.1°C (max) Digital Temperature Sensor

According to the datasheet
±0.1 °C: = 35.8 °C to 41 °C
±0.13 °C: 20.0 °C to 70.0 °C
±0.25 °C: –40 °C to +125 °C

I do not think I have seen any other temperature sensor with this much reported accuracy at this price.

Finally received it and it is a nice and as far as I can tell accurate sensor (do not have a reference thermometer to check).

Compared to thermistors, DS18B20s, SHT31s, BME280s this sensor updating is far smoother than all of them updating in the rage of 0.01-0.03c range with each sensor reading (1 second delay) vs as high as 0.2c changes on some of the other sensors in the same reading delay.

As far as I can tell this is out of all the other temperature sensors I have and tested the best that is PCB mounted every other PCB mounted sensor has been +1-2c higher than other non-PCB mounted sensors.

And is on par with a 2 point calibrated DS18B20 but like I said since I don’t have a reference thermometer I don’t really have a true accuracy but will keep testing it against other sensors and maybe even get a reference thermometer at some point.

Only issues with the order was with the postage I am guessing Covid-19 is to blame but it took a week and a day to arrive I would like to ask the seller if he could add another delivery method such as Royal Mail First Class.

Other than that excellent service and a good temperature sensor will most likely be buying again soon.

Seems to be a good and accurate sensor

For SHT35-D (Digital) Humidity & Temperature Sensor

I already had various different sensors before which had self-heating issues (up to +2°C to high), 'bad' accuracy (+/-0.5°C and lots of % humidity deviation), and all deviated to each other. This sensor finally has a very good accuracy for temperature and humidity (if i trust the data sheet). The sensor produces very stable values and doesn't fluctuate. It reacts fast to any changes (e.g. if i open the window). I have no calibrated measuring instruments, but compared to a 'good' thermometer/hygrometer this sensor shows (almost) identical values. The available library makes it very easy to use the sensor.

Excellent

For Si7051 ±0.1°C (max) Digital Temperature Sensor

Well made, fast shipping and well packaged.

I wanted to use these to calibrate a bunch of DS18B20 1-wire waterproof sensors that were within spec (+/- 0.5C) but as a group spread over a ~1C range and they're doing the trick nicely.

I used the supplied library to add these to esphome as a custom component (files on github: https://github.com/esphome/feature-requests/issues/573) so I have a small battery driven device (ESP32 with integral battery) that I can plonk anywhere.

Once in a while they give an outlier reading (-6C) but that's easy to filter out.

High quality sensor board

For SHT31-D (Digital) Humidity & Temperature Sensor

This is a well thought-out and tiny sensor (SHT31-D) breakout board. There are a few things which make this breakout stand out among the garden-variety-ebay breakouts:

* Design: the sensor piece is air-gapped from the surrounding board (as much as possible).
* Info: all the essential information is printed directly on the board (e.g. I2C addresses).
* Supplied filter cap!

Especially the filter cap was a big deal for me, since it was intended to go (and actually is) outdoors.

The SHT31-D itself is a pretty good sensor, especially for battery-powered projects: very very low power consumption in sleep/idle (0.2uA, confirmed), auto-fallback to this mode when measuring (so no hassle in putting to sleep), very simple formulas to get the actual temp/humidity values from the reported data.

All of this, together the quality of the build, definitely make this board worth the price for any "DIY environmental sensor" project.

Impressive (so far)!

For SHT35-D (Digital) Humidity & Temperature Sensor

I chose this sensor+breakout-board, because I wanted to buy a "state of the art" device, and I didn't mind to spend a few bucks for it (stress:a FEW, not a few hundred). The availability of the filter cap, which is sold as an extra, was also very important for my decision to buy (read on to find out why).
I have managed to to put it to work this week, connected (~4meters FTP cable) to an Arduino+Ethernet shield, in various test runs (over http and MQTT protocol).
The stability over time of the sensor's output so far is really impressive. If you keep the sensor in a room with stable conditions, then there is practically no jitter and no ups and downs in the output (temp & hum). If you breathe at it, you can almost watch your breath passing by the sensor in the output!
Furthermore, after I had managed to make it work in the software, there was not a single error in the output for hours.
So far so good!
After I have finished setting up the rest of the hardware and software(which will take me quite some more time) I am going to test the sensor in its intended position, where the environment is rather unfriendly! That is the reason why I chose it in the first place, because according to the sensor's datasheet it is specified to work with fairly high accuracy in these conditions as well.
I am very curious how this will work out, and I am planning to update my feedback, after I have finished.
I must mention that it took me quite a few trials and errors and some fiddling to make the provided library work. This is most likely because of my programming skills (just above "copy-paste-and-pray-it-works" level). After i have finished programming and error checking,
I will probably contact support on this, I just want to be sure first, that I have done everything I could on my behalf.
I can definitely say that for residential conditions this breakout board is very well worth its money!

Nice board, good soldering, quick shipping.

For SHT31-ARP Analog Humidity and Temperature Sensor

The summary says it all. The board is well designed and, if you opt for the soldered headers, they are well done. Wired up, I've compared the results to a calibrated RTD that has considerable cost associated with it and my numbers are right on target. I have experience with the Sensirion chips and know their value, but having this professionally installed on a board that I can easily wire up is fantastic.

Can't ask for more and I'll certainly order this again if I am in need of inexpensive, yet robust sensors.

Quick shipping (4 or 5 working days to Italy). The sensor is accurate yet quite stable, though I can't verify whether it matches the claimed ±0.1°C accuracy as I have no precision instrumentation to compare with. The response time is relatively slow (a few tens of seconds for a ~5 m/s airflow) when compared to thermistors or thermocouples, so I would not recommend it for applications like temperature control.

All in all, this breakout board is definitely the easiest way to embed a TSYS01 sensor in your DIY project.

Works without any problems - did not install the protection caps, eventually will do it later. Compared to a high-end calibrated and PT1000 based temp sensor - this one is very accurate.

GREAT !

For SHT31-ARP Analog Humidity and Temperature Sensor

I use this module for climate controlling in a greenhouse. It's tiny, easy to install and seems to work fine. I haven't got the chance to compare it with a calibrated instrument, but comparing it with non-lab equipment, it looks quite close. (at least close enough for me :) )I would NOT use it without the special Cap and I strongly advice to read the data-sheets.
I used the Analog version instead of the I²C because I had too many problems with long cables, harsh environments etc.
A software filter/correction does a good job in this analog setup and there's no need for exotic libraries.

BME680 Not Very accruate

For BME680 Environment Sensor with Ultra Low 1.8V Out

So far, I am a bit disappointed with this sensor, as I am finding with either the ClosedCube Library or the Adafruit Librarys, that the Data is way off: Temperature is about 6 degrees Higher, Humidity runs about 5 to 6 % lower, Pressure runs much lower, as far as Gas, I cannot really say, seems to fluctuate wildly. I compared these reading to the SHT31X and SHT35X sensors that Seem to work well, I also compared this to BME180 /280, for pressure and compare to local airport readings.
Also compared to DHT22 sensors, and found these to be more accurate.
So Overall Not a good sensor for the price, OR, I got a defective one.....

Very Accurate Sensor !

Now this really is a nice sensor, I have found it to be very accurate and fast !, I have compared this to many other sensors and find this one to be the best !, I particularly love the Permeable cap option which I bought to be able to use this in a protected but outdoor environment , Only sensor I have found with this option.
I highly recommend this sensor, and plan to purchase more !

Very Good Option for accurate temperature readings

For MAX30205 ±0.1°C Human Body Temperature Sensor

It works perfect, I'm using this product in a prototype of a medical device, gives you a pretty accurate reading in comparison to a regular calibrated medical thermometer. Doesn't need too much code to retrieve the temperature values but consumes some ram space on the Arduino. Satisfied with my product!

SIX stars!

For HDC1010 High Accuracy Humidity/Temperature Sensor

I am a total noob. I didn't own a soldering iron when I ordered these sensor ships. I reached out to ClosedCube asking how to adjust the I2C address so I could have two sensors on the same I2C bus, and explained I was a noob. The walked me through the process of de-soldering and re-soldering a tiny smd jumper. They could tell I was nervous, and so they included a bag of extra parts so I could practice before I tried it on the real thing.

The sensors arrived in less than a week - which impressed me, since I am in Western US. When they got here I used the practice parts for about two hours, and then I successfully mobed the smd jumper. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be.

I used the ClosedCube published Arduino library, and it worked perfectly. Super easy. This was my first time actually applying a new library, and it couldn't have been easier.

Now I have two chips on the same bus, and they work perfectly! I put them in a sealed bag, and within a couple minutes, the temperature readings were about .05 degrees Fahrenheit different, and the RH% was about .3% different - WELL within the published tolerances.

The sensor doesn't even require calibration to reach this accuracy.

Excellent Temperature Sensor

For LMT70 ±0.1°C Precision Analog Temperature Sensor

I've purchased several of these LMT70 Temperature Sensors. They work great and are very precise.

These are useful when you only have one Microcontroller pin left and can't use a One Wire device and need higher accuracy than an LM34.

Among other projects, I'm using them on an RGB Matrix Display - Particle Photon Weather Station, to display indoor Temperature.

Does what it is intended to do

This is a very small break-out board. It works perfectly together with a Raspberry Pi and a custom Allwinner A33 based board. A small minus: schematics are not available. I had no communication with the supplier, so I gave 4 stars for that.

Great Product, Great Price.

The HDC1010 High Accuracy Humidity/Temperature Sensor Board is just the perfect solution to our research needs. We do temperature and humidity logging in various cave environments. We needed a highly accurate and dependable sensor. The HDC1010 Chip from Texas Instruments is perfect for the job, but is way too small for us to place in a circuit. Closed Cube has taken care of all the fine detail work by mounting this sensor on a practical sized circuit board. The board is well designed and very durable. The code provided by Closed Cube is easy to understand and implement. We plan to purchase more devices in the future.
