DEK Italia is a young company which was founded in 2008 by hardware and software engineers with thorough experience in the telecommunication industry. In 2010 we started to develop a remote monitoring system for sustainable energy, based on commercial single board computers as data acquisition device. The result of this activity is the open source telegea.org IoT platform. Initially developing only the software of the platform, we soon realized the limits of the "off the shelf" hardware we were using, so we started to design our own IoT gateway. More IoT modules like wired and wireless sensor are in the making.
We are very interested in the latest developments and innovation in communications technology, in particular all kind of connected devices and smart home applications used mainly for energy efficiency .
