This brought power back to my old mac
For PicoPSU Adaptor for Macintosh 128K / 512K / Plus
I had a macPlus that stopped working all of a sudden. I found that this was due to a faulty AC/DC converter. I opted to get the PicoPSU Adapter.
I received the item, did a bit of soldering, and, after installing the picoATX PSU, the computer was back to life.
I really like the quality of the product, the PCB is sturdy, everything fits neatly in place. I'll get on future mods (a fan, linking to the power switch to use the regular switch instead of the "always on" mode.
It is indeed fully reversible (I opted to let the power cable go through the security lock hole), and maybe one day I'll source a reliable power board, but this little blocky computer is happy for now.
The item works with 20 pins nano PSUs, the seller was really kind in our communication, and indeed you can use 24 or 20 pins nano ATX plugs (they are indeed keyed so you cannot make any mistake).

Pros :
- Soldering is not that hard, follow the instructions, have some flux at hand, a nice multimeter and you'll be fine
- Works with 20 and 24 pins nano ATX power supplies
- Fully reversible mod (I really like the cable ties that can be opened to remove the wires), and non destructive
- Really easy to install (take care to avoid high voltage parts)
Cons :
- Are there any ? Maybe if you prefer to have your computer non-working. :)
