Excellent development tool
For Quadropus
I was puzzled by the difficulty of the task of finding a more-than-single USB to UART adapter, and by pure chance I came across Thorsten's Quadropus. It fitted my needs perfectly: finally I can get rid of the nest of cables that multiple single adapters and an USB hub made on my desk, and I can interface with my projects in a cleaner way.
I was worried by the lack of 5V outputs, but indeed this allows me to not worry about drawing too much current from the USB bus or mistakenly mixing inputs with outputs, which is a nice thing.
The probes seem to use decent quality cables, not the cheap unsolderable kind.
The package was very well padded, everything was sealed inside antistatic bags and wrapped tightly in antistatic bubble wrap. And it even included a handwritten thank you note :)
