One Nice Amp.

For CMOY Headphone Amplifier- Choice of Tin

Looks new and works perfect with good quality parts.
I use it with my iPod Video 5.5 Gen via LOD cable and AKG K 712 Pro Headphones.
The sound for me is a little better now with this CMOY Headphone Amplifer.

Changed the DIP-8 op-amp with another i got:
Deeper punchier bass, more air in the midrange and softer highs,
it's more enjoyable to listen to now than without the amp.
I like this CMOY Headphone Amp.

Amp arrived in perfect shape. Very good built. Board firmly fixed to tin with adhesive foam. Good high quality volume control with ON/OFF switch, LED inside, on board, nice small aluminum knob finely textured so it wont slip on your fingers. Volume more than adequate, just a fifth of a turn to reach my listening level using in-ear-phones. Well worth the wait of six weeks to South America.

Great idea, not very versatile.

Our example displayed a strange input impedance issue/instability with lower signal sources. overall tonality was pleasant if a little muddy. we were hoping to be able to use it as a headphone amp for an electric guitar but were disappointed with it in that role. In fairness that is not its intended application but others may have the same thought...

Everything went as it should with shipping, the product works exactly as I had hoped, and all in all a good experience. It makes my PS4 a lot louder and actually usable with my headphones which is all I needed it to do. Great product.

My first CMoy amp. Shipping was really fast. The tin can came in perfect condition nk dents and fully assembled.
No dings or whatsoever. Sound, very balanced and low noise. Perfect for iem. I am using it with sony xba 3 and zune hd.
Relly low noise especiallyfor iem. I highly recommend this cmoy amp. Sounds amazing with full detail even on low volumes.

I was pleasantly surprised. For the price-point I wasn't expecting too much, but it drives my Sennhieser HD 600 with no problem at all. After listening to a few of my favorite albums it delivers all the fidelity I could ask for. Of course the first thing my friends notice is the tin, but that's cool too. Thanks for a quality product.

Excellent - well constructed and works well

Not much more to say, other than the seller shipped it quickly. Switch is high quality and inputs are well secured.

It as made travel and listening to music/watching movies on flights much better. Clarity for music without excessive volume. Recommend!

Neat Project, Even Better TurnKey

I had wanted to make my own CMOY Headphone Amp, but when I started shopping around I saw that the cost for parts and shipping were going to cost more than a completely assembled unit.

I love that there are options for which tin is used, and the workmanship is way better than mine would have been.

I seems to work fine, but I've only used it for a voice-only project. Looking forward to testing it further, but I would recommend this without reservation.

Great Build

For CMOY Headphone Amplifier- Choice of Tin

I received my fully assembled CMOY Headphone Amp promptly. Beautiful build in a simple enclosure. The input and output jacks are not labeled, so folks should make themselves acquainted with the amp layout before using it for the first time (there are photographs at the site that are informative).

I am using mine to drive a set of Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro 250 ohm phones. Great product and at a great price. Recommended.

Love my cmoy amp!

I thought I ordered a kit and was surprised when it came fully assembled. Wow, pretty cheap for a hand wired unit. It sounds quite good with my iPod classic playing from the line out.

My only wish is that the led was on the outside. But, no biggy.

Works well.

For USB to RS-485 Converter

Works very well. Next version, I'd like a red/green LED for TX/RX, but this works very well and windows picked up the drivers for it without needing to use a disk.

A nice kit, but fatally flawed as an amplifier

For Headphone Amplifier Kit

The kit is largely well assembled, with a couple of nice touches that make it easier to put together, such as the clearly labelled resistors, but the design is fatally flawed by its use of a resistive virtual ground, making it generally a pretty poor amplifier.
