I've been developing small robots, microcontroller boards and motor drivers with Microchip PIC processors since 2002. I added Arduinos, including custom Arduino-compatible hardware, in 2010. I've been dishing up PCB design-for-manufacturing advice on the Screaming Circuits blog since 2006, and contributing to EE-Times and other UBM publications since 2010. I'm writing a book on custom Arduino-compatible hardware.
There's a logo for "MD Galactic" on the some of the PC boards. What or who is MD Galactic?
My good friend Max Maxfield, writer / editor for EE Times, and I developed our Universal Screw-terminal proto-shield together and launched a Kickstarter as MD Galactic Enterprises. Max and I will, from time to time, develop new products or crazy ideas together as MD Galactic. As with the Universal screw-terminal proto-shield, if they work out, you'll likely see them show up here at some point.
