Excellent product and seller

For C64 DiskBuddy64

Communication with seller to ship to Australia was excellent, and was sent quickly. Delivery took a while, but not the seller's fault, and they were super friendly throughout. On receipt I followed the instructions via the links provided in the product's description, and am really happy to have good backups of my 40-ish year old floppy disks on my modern computer.

So cool this exists!

This little gadget is awesome! Well made, shipped fast and works like a charm. It does require a micro-usb to USB-A cable. I think it says that somewhere - from the pics I thought it was a USB-C not a micro-usb. No biggy. On the software side I did have to install PySerial and Tkinter since my version of python didn't have it. Just google it and you can find how to install. Again, I think it says that somewhere. Now I need to get some more blank disks to create floppies from all my .D64 emulator files for my resurrected C64 :) Thanks for making this!

It works!

For C64 DiskBuddy64

I wasn't sure if this would work on my original 1541 drive, as the documentation said it was meant for the 1541 II, but it works amazingly! It's pretty simple to set up, just remember to install the driver if you are using Windows.

Awesome C64 Archive Tool!

For C64 DiskBuddy64

I was quickly backing up childhood disks that hadn’t been accessed in over 30 years! This is a tool that requires some technical skills, but works great once correct python components are installed. Everything is detailed on the creator’s GitHub. It reads disks SO FAST!

The components were soldered with skill and everything worked on the first try. I’m very satisfied!
