Exactly as advertised - saved me so much time

For Z1-Mini

Thank you so much for this little board. It works exactly as advertised - great build quality. I was up and running with my custom Zigbee device within minutes.
Glad I bought 2, one is commissioned, while I experiment with the other, then when Im happy with my config, just swap them over.

The perfect ZigBee 3.0 Adapter!

For Z-Bee Duo. Modular CC2652P zigbee 3.0 adapter

First of all, many thanks to the seller as he correctly managed communication and more importantly he solved at his own expenses my mis-understanding on the type of cover to buy.
I have coupled the Z-Bee Duo with a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W and followed the provided instructions to install all software...it works like a charm!
Super happy and worth the money spent!

Innanzitutto grazie mille al venditore che ha gestito correttamente la comunicazione e soprattutto ha risolto a proprie spese (!) un mio malinteso sul tipo di contenitore da acquistare.
Ho accoppiato il Z-Bee Duo con un Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W e ho installato il software di gestione come da istruzioni fornite... funziona tutto alla grande!
Super contento, lo consiglio!

Good product, gets ignored when asking for ESPHome config

EDIT: seller has gotten back to me about the config and I've updated the review score to match

I've bought the version with a wifi module (ESP-01) and the electronics have been working without any problems so far.

The firmware that it comes with is ESPHome which I also run on my other ESPs on my network so I've asked twice for a config for it so I can update it and so far I've been ignored.

There is also no way to print your own case if you don't wanna go through the process of designing it yourself.

Hi, thank you for your review. I'm sorry, i forgot to reply to your request, i sent you esp configuration, even if an update is not really needed since it works only for ser2net purpose.

Recommended

For Z1-Mini

Good build quality. Good communication. Cannot be flashed through USB (as stated in the documentation), would be even smoother if that was possible in some way.

Great stick

For Z-Bee Duo. Modular CC2652P zigbee 3.0 adapter

I bought this stick to replace the weak CC2531, i had some problems at first (my pi3 didnt like it all) but giovanni spend a lot of time trying to help me with my problems, at the end i switched to a pi zero i had, had zero problems with that. Is that why its called a Pi Zero? Anyways, works perfect since that, so i can exlude the stick from being the problem.

Appreciate all the time he has spend answering my questions and he is always responding very fast!

Good Zigbee adapter that is very modular.

For Z-Bee Duo. Modular CC2652P zigbee 3.0 adapter

I ordered the version with the ESP SER2NET bridge. All MCUs came already flashed with a usable firmware.
So it was just a matter of plugging it into a USB power supply and connect it to zigbee2mqtt via TCP.
It is running for a couple of weeks right now without any issues. I am happy. ;-)

Very good product and excellent support

Bought this to replace a cc2531. After sales Giovanni helped me to install ser2net on an esp8266 already owned. Excellent support and good products. maybe the most powerfull at the moment

Great product

For Z-Bee Duo. Modular CC2652P zigbee 3.0 adapter

This ZigBee coordinator and router delivers on its promises. The range is far better than I expected, and I am now able to communicate with devices I couldn't reach before (even with a CC2531 with external antenna).

Flashing via USB works exactly as expected, and it was really fast as well!

The shipping was okay, but since I ordered without tracking, it took a few weeks to arrive. I'm happy I waited though, because this product is worth all the money.

This coordinator/router combo cannot be beaten by anything else at this price point. Can only recommend this to everyone!

Very versatile.

For Z-Bee Duo. Modular CC2652P zigbee 3.0 adapter

What a simply brilliant design, put it straight onto the GPIO, use ser2net or simply plug it into a USB port.

I have tried all three, they all work great.

ser2net seems very reliable, it has been up for over 24 hours and I have sent a high amount of data through the connection without problems.
This makes it very easy to site the device at its most advantageous point, signal wise.

I also tried putting a Pi Zero into the case, it fit just great.
It meant that this little thing was acting as the coordinator and MQTT server by simply plugging it into a phone charger anywhere I wish.
It basically becomes a very small, tidy and complete open source ZigBee hub with a Pi Zero onboard.
I doubt there is a commercial ZIgBee hub out there that can compete with this in all honesty.
