Controlling PC motherboard PWR

For Micro WIFI IoT Relay for Smarthome with Tasmota FW

Most of my PCs behave well and can be powered on or off via AC or via WoL, but recently I came acros a stuborn ASUS motherboard that does not want to power on to anything else but PWR shortcircuit button/signal.
Of course, I reached for Tindie in search of a solution, and here it is.
This Tasmota Relay is perfect because it is light and small and is powered by 5V/USB.
Works like a charm.
Now I can power on and shutdown my PC remotely as if I was pressing the PWR button on the case.

Worked only after re-flashing with Tasmota

For WIFI IoT Relay for your Smarthome with Tasmota FW

The unit is well built but came with no documentation and no links to any on tindie or on the creators website.
I was unable to get the item to function properly.
The web interface was not working and the manual button did not engage the relay.
On power-up the unit would simply toggle the relay continuously every few seconds.
After about an hour of tinkering I reflashed the firmware.

The unit performed exactly as expected after it had been reflashed.

thanks for your review.
I have left a link to the first start pdf with my shipping message and It should be visible in your order details.
Tasmota has a factory reset feature, by holding the (mode) button for 40 seconds it will reset everything, there are also other modes connected to the button, but this is well documented on the tasmota docs.

Works great out of the box, easy setup, did take a few minutes to figure out how to hook it up to my home assistant installation (enable WeMo emulation and point home assistant to port 80). Documentation could be better, but overall highly recommended.

easy set up - nice unit

Just received the S5 , well made , nice solder job . Set it up quick , the only weird thing not tehybug related , when I tried to connect to 192.168.1.1 , I got the login page for my neighbors router, thermostat . After I could connect to the tehybug all was good . Will definitely order again . fast shipping , a great value for the cost .

Bought this item without really needing it. I was looking for a temperature logger to be used by a friend, when I was tempted to see if this WIFI relay would work.
It works as promised, but after some correspondence with the seller. The seller is fast an concise to respond.
Documentation is to the point and could need a little more explanation for the noob.

Das Produkt ist in der Grundfunktion einfach in Betrieb zu nehmen, es sendet anschliessend zuverlaessig die Daten, die Dokumentation ist gut und zeigt auch Anwendungen fuer Erweiterungen auf, der Entwickler antwortet auch auf Fragen. Mit einem Solarpanel 6Volt / 5Watt und einem passenden Solar Ladegeraet arbeitet das System autonom. Ein passendes Gehaeuse, wie es ueblicherweise fuer Wetterstationen verwendet wird, fuer die Sensorplatine ist auch im Handel erhaeltlich.

Good product

For TeHyButton Mini, WIFI Open Door Sensor

Shipping and aftersales support of the 3 units was fast and excellent; getting the product to use in no time.
Easy to use and wonderful with tehybug data server integration. Blynk notification works out of the Box.
Documentation can be improved: screenshots, use with MQTT, Blynk - not sure if I can change the firmware if I wished to - currently no need though.

Excellent turn-key sensor

For TeHyBug Mini, WIFI Weatherstation and data logger

I'm going to be using the TeHyBug to monitor the the workspace under our acquarium, to detect any leaks (for a couple reasons, a simple water flood detector won't work; humidity sensing is best). So I hooked it up with some off-the-shelf packages to provide everything needed.

Great Product!

Newbie on this type of product, able to connect to it etc, but probably need more documentation to use it with BLYNK,
Have some more uses for additional units if I can make this one work OK:-)

thanks for your honest review,
I'm continuously working on improving my devices and every feedback helps me.
If you plan to use blynk directly, it has documentation which you can get at the blynk site (Blynk HTTP RESTful API), TeHyBug is not affiliated with blynk.
There is a blynk data forwarding at the TeHyBug cloud, if you need help in setting it up, please let me know.
I have also developed a PHP script for sending TeHyBug data to blynk with notifications, the script is available at the TeHyBug GitHub repo.

Works great. Accurate logging

For WIFI Low Power Temperature and Humidity logger s1

Shipping was slow. The hold up was USPS in New york. But that's just international shipping.

Setup is a breeze. You can choose update option, how often to update and where to pist. Seller provides a default cloud based log and graphic output, or roll your own.

Keep a couple of 9 volt batteries around. It comes with a 9 volt snap on, that's attached with a screw terminal so that looks great for whatever you need to power it with.

The seller was quick to answer a couple of questions i had
