Cute board that did me very well
For USB C-RIAL PRO
I'm a fan of USB Type C (and even sell a USB2.0 breakout board on my store ;)), and I was in need of more UART adapters. I found this listing, ordered 1 of both Male and Female variants, and was pleased to see that the board has the correct CC1 and CC2 resistors to make it work on any USB-C host!
But one thing that made me write the review, that may have been unintentional, is that the RTS pin on the IC, was broken out to a resistor footprint that was unpopulated (as shown on the product preview photos). For making the programming of ESP32/8266 chips easier, that pin is used to reset the MCU with the correct timing. And having that broken out was a life-saver!
Thank you for what may have been a happy accident, and don't hesitate in buying this board!
