Rain, rain, go away....

For 9 Valve Sprinkler Controller - Works with ESPHome

This product arrived quickly and looks great! I'm just waiting for the rain to die down so I can actually put it to use (will update my review soon...). So excited to finally be in full local control of all my IoT devices and not hoping "the cloud" is available to route my commands from my couch to my pasture.

Finally had a dry spell and got the chance to fire it up. She worked great! I really love the overlap feature to minimize the water hammer - I've woken up to too many split pipes.

Open source sprinkler firmware = winning

For 9 Valve Sprinkler Controller - Works with ESPHome

This sprinkler controller hardware works well with Home Assistant and requires minimal effort to control via scripting/flashing.
While a little more cumbersome to use than commercial options, if you want a wifi enabled controller that supports local control and is fully customizable via software then this is the product to get.

The controller is in a nice case and the screen works well along with the customized ESPHome software.
I plan to control with wifi to avoid going into the garage but manual push buttons are also present for running watering programs.
I was able to install in an old controller box easily and the seller is updating software as needed.
