A+ Product

For LE STRUM - MIDI Strummed Chord Controller DIY KIT

Worth every penny! I had the Le Strum DIY Kit in my tindie shopping cart for a year or so before deciding to make the purchase. I'm relatively new to DIY kit building, so the Le Strum seemed like a good project for my experience level. The kit was well documented and relatively easy to build. I had to take some care to line up all of the small push-buttons so that they were flush with the PCB before soldering them in place, but the build instructions adequately mention and warn for this. I had a little bit of trouble getting the battery holder into the proper position in order to be soldered but managed to get there in the end.

I found a CAD file for a LE Strum enclosure on google and used a 3D printer to print it - the finished product looks pretty slick. I've been using Le Strum along with my Volca Keys and Volca FM, or with Reason. It's the perfect companion for a portable or "dawless" setup, and I highly recommend picking one up.

Great MIDI splitter

Compact, simple MIDI splitter that works great. Has nice LED feedback as well so you can keep an eye on your signals. Sixty Four Pixels is a great store and I'd highly recommend!

Amazing!

For ARPIE - MIDI Arpeggiator Kit

Simply put: this is the best little hardware arpeggiator money can buy in relation to it's functionality, it's a behemoth hidden in a small body.
Very easy to build with the printed PCB, with a good iron in a couple hours you have a very creative little machine that can get MIDI clock from whatever source and play arpeggios thru CV's on older synths, and much much more.
Hooked to my AN1x and this little monster is driving acid and beefy basslines as nothing else in no time, really a pleasure to hear and to control!
Now my MC-202 shoots notes like there's no tomorrow...it only needs a small lifting as pots and sliders are a bit worn, then mod some direct accent cv to get full accent control.
After one week jamming in my spare time I can only recommend this kit.
CV TAB is also great, first for it's basic usage to route CV signals, nonetheless the save feature is really a great plus.
On my unit i replaced menu and hold buttons with softer ones (VV439800,they do not fit perfectly as they have only 2 legs but after adaptation work beautifully - they are spare parts of my old Yamaha RS7000 that is still going strong with original ones), and also adapted status led colors to my likings.
Ordered two boards in alternate colors, came both black but no issues at all we can cope with and after all we're very satisfied.
Packaging is a work of some kind of black belt ninja packer and shipping was blazing fast,

For ARPIE MIDI Arpeggiator - PCBs/Microcontroller only

The PCB for this kit is lovely, and the build instructions make it easy enough for a beginner to complete. Can't recommend enough and looking forward to upping my arp game.

Arpie Case

For Case for ARPIE

This case is the perfect fit to make my Arpie look complete! I love the ARPIE and wanted to find something that can protect it and the acrylic case does the job. It makes my Arpie look sleeker. Assembly was very easy to follow and instructions are very straight forward. Jason was very easy to communicate with and is also very helpful for any questions I had. Shipment was quick! I would definitely recommend this case to anyone looking for one for their Arpie.

This thing is a blast. Not too difficult to set up with solenoids. I got all 8 outputs working and had a crazy acoustic drum machine. It's the best thing out there for that at an affordable price.

You Should Buy It

I bought my Le Strum a few weeks ago and it's slowly become and obsession. All the information you need to mod it or create and enclosure or alternate strum pad are readily available and pretty easy to understand even if you're new to electronics. Attaching the components was a lot easier than I expected, I have very little experience soldering and after the first parts I felt like a pro.

Very useful Orange

For Orange Squeeze MIDI Merge

I use this device to feed my octatrack with midi signals from a Keystep, a Novation Circuit and a Virus C. It does his job perfect merging all the inputs. I have tried the clock send by main and it works fine too.

Extras are very useful. LED indicators to kwon every time what data are moving. And also reset button. I haved a moment of panic when everything seems to be wrong. But pushed panic (reset) button and madness switched off. Not an Orange malfunction, just a bad MIDI cable. I changed it and problem solved.

Strong built and it seems to me a cool and tasty Orange, perfect for my juice.

Fantastic box for MIDI routing.

For Banana Split - 6 Way Midi Splitter/Thru Box

I had been eyeing a few different products for one MIDI in -> multiple MIDI out.. and the 1 in 6 out of the Banana Split is not only "enough" for me right now, but the size of the unit (small!) and quality of the unit (great! hard plastics remind me of the Korg Volcas, wonderful face plate with etched branding and labels) is top notch and far exceeded my expectations.

I ordered the power supply with it. It's great and it came from myVolts.

I've used the Banana Split for "DAW-less" setups and also have it driving a lot of my usual gear when I'm in full DAW mode in the studio. I'm considering adding a 2nd one just for my road/mobile kit!

I bought this case when I also bought my Arpie. Since the Arpie's boards are a bit exposed, a nice case around it was a must for me. The instructions were clear, the assembly was actually fun to do and it looks really clean. Once assembled it also feels pretty sturdy for such a small device, thanks for making this!

First off, the build is super well documented and was a ton of fun. Finished it in about 2 hours.

Then...THEN..this thing is so fun to play with. Melodies and unthinkable patterns appear out of nowhere. Excited to start to compose with this!

Exactly what I'd hoped for

For midihub 6-way MIDI Thru and Metronome Module

I play synth in a live band and the ability to sync the on board tempo with the rest of the band via tapping is invaluable. No other product does this outside of DAWs or much more expensive gear so this is really useful.

Nice MIDI to CV Box...does what it should do!

So just quick and dirty...
- easy to use
- great size and stable build
- useful editor to customize all the outputs

I use the CV.OCD to control my CV-gear via the digitakt-MIDI-Tracks...and that works fine!


I can totally recommend this box ...although MIDI-Through would be on my wishlist ;-).

Great product!

For CV.OCD - A super flexible MIDI to CV box

I'm using it with two Oberheim SEM modules, so I can set to play them polyphonically, separately from different midi channels, or in unison, just by transferring a different sysex string via midi. I'm also going to use it to send triggers to my Simmons sds8 drum machine from another midi channel. Still haven't tried it with my yamaha hz/v cv controlled synths as I have them hooked up directly to my Synthstrom Deluge sequencer (another great unit!), but I'm sure the cv.ocd is capable to pass the correct cv here as well.

I have only one wish that is not fulfilled when controlling the SEMs: As far as I can see, the cv.ocd can't send negative cv, so the lower octaves are not available (please someone correct me if there is a setting for it that I didn't find). Hopefully it will be possible with a firmware update or in the next cv.ocd version :)

In all other aspects, the cv.ocd is the perfect stand-alone midi2cv controller! Even able to control up to four voices!
