Sound Blaster 2.0

For Blasterboard - a complete 8-bit ISA sound card

I have bought some sound cards in Tindie and some other shops, IMO this is the best, fully compatible with everything, has a nice sound, and nice soldering it's the AIO Card. I'm very happy with my shopping. I fully recommend it.

Works as expected. Definitely better that SB 2.0 clones I had in 1990s :-)
Volume controls in particular are a great addition.

I accidentally failed to add some shipping details after purchase, but Eugene was very response and corrected the mistake immediately. The shipping was fast and the card and components were properly packed. Using the documentation present on this site I ordered the components that were still required to finish the build. Using the BOM and the description, it was a breeze to build - the instructions are clear and the card easy to setup.

I am very happy to have an excellent non-PnP Soundblaster replacement for my vintage computers! Highly recommended!

Great sound card for (very) old computers

For Blasterboard - a complete 8-bit ISA sound card

I purchased the Blasterboard for my XT clone as a Sound Blaster 2.0 replacement. I was targeting OPL2 sound cards with PC-speaker input as many games of the XT era would not produce anything else than the internal PC-speaker sound. The Blasterboard was immediately recognized by DOS games compatible with AdLib and Sound Blaster 2.0 sounds cards and by Mod Master XT which I use to play Amiga mods. What can I say? The Blasterboard works fantastic, the sound is crystal clear, even the PC-speaker sounds less PC-speakerish now. I'm very happy with the Blasterboard and I highly recommend this sound card for anyone needing a great SB 2.0 clone for their vintage computer. Oh, by the way, Eugene is super responsive and the shipping was top notch!
