Buyer Beware!
For PCB Reflow Soldering Heat Plate
Product was received in a timely manner, in good condition, and NON-FUNCTIONAL. I should have suspected when i noticed that there was no return address on the box. I attempted to contact the seller, more than once, but he continues to ghost me. I can only assume that his definition of no warranty includes implied warranty of merchantability.
Granted, it looks to be repairable, but not disclosing that the merchandise is defective at time of sale is reprehensible.
Buyer Beware! Best to look elsewhere.
However, if you are one of the 12 unfortunates who purchased this item, I can offer modified firmware that works around the deficiencies in the product. You can find it at: https://github.com/AC1I/PCB-reflow-solder-heat-plate.git

Hi Patrick,
I’m sorry for the late response, I only was notified by email last night of your question and I’m a student, so I’m very busy.
As to the question I saw, are you able to try a 5 amp power supply? You mentioned you used a 25 amp supply, but the board has a 5 amp resettable fuse on it that may be tripping if it pulls too much current and resets.
I’m sorry about the issues you’ve been having, it isn’t my board design but I’ll do my best to help you. Also, I do leave return addresses on the boxes, so I’m not sure why that’s the case.
Please let me know how it goes, and I’ll see if I can send a replacement unit if not. Again, I’m just a student so please be understanding. I’ll be in contact as best I can.
Thanks,
Landon
