A few years ago, I was searching for a high-quality CO₂ sensor to monitor the air quality in my home—one that could also integrate seamlessly with my home automation system. When I couldn’t find a suitable option, I decided to build one myself. My 20+ years of programming experience certainly helped, but I still had to learn a lot, including CAD design and 3D printing.
After months of trial and error, I successfully created my first CO₂ sensor: the MoreSense MS-01. It didn’t take long to realize that others were also interested, so I began selling them in my home country, the Netherlands.
Now, four years and countless sensors later, I’m ready to expand internationally. The sensors have evolved significantly over time, incorporating valuable user feedback and new features. Their quality and reliability have improved to the point where I can confidently say they rival—or even surpass—major brands. The difference? MoreSense sensors remain **affordable** and **easy to use**.
