Super helpful!

For ATtiny1616 Development Board

This was really helpful for getting an attend project I was working on prototyped. Everything is clearly labeled so no documentation was needed. I came back and ordered more!

Great programmer for UPDI devices

For AVR UPDI Programmer with 12V

This programmer has been very reliable. I use this now instead of the jtag2updi I built.
The 2nd serial port is unique to all the other programmers I found, makes printf debugging very easy. I jumped J2 pin 3 (NC) to RXD2 so I can have a single cable to my target.
I haven't tried the HV function (allows use the UPDI pin as GPIO), but it's good to know its available.
The HV switch is not labeled on PCB, although LED (+12V kick) will indicate HV option device is powered up.
Not sure how to install Device::AVR::UPDI (having a quick write-up on how to use this would be nice), so I use PYUPDI, which works well.
My PCB has a 4.7k resistor pre-installed, so it needs to be shorted to work with this programmer. Another nice-to-have would be to bypass the onboard 4.7k easily to work with boards that have it installed.

Nice little breakout

For AVR UPDI Programmer with 12V

Got this to play with some of the 0- and 1- series UPDI chips, and along with pyupdi is a great little tool for poking around with these chips and not having to break the bank on one of the big debuggers.

The secondary uart interface is a nice feature too (that I haven't used yet), but I think it'll prove useful to have on hand as opposed to needing a spare ftdi or whatever breakout.

Great programmer for tinyAVR 1-series

For AVR UPDI Programmer with 12V

I got this board to program and debug tinyAVR 1-series parts, and it's working well. I'm using pyupdi on a macOS host for programming, with the driver from here: https://www.silabs.com/developers/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers. I had trouble initially because the target board I was trying to program included the 4.7k resistor on the UPDI line, but once I bridged that programming was successful. Having the schematics of the programmer available was useful.

Could use a serial interface

For ATtiny3217 Development Board

I'm enjoying starting work with the ATtiny3217 development board. The current distraction is trying to get a 3v3 USB/FTDI module to work with it so I can use Serial Monitor for troubleshooting. The board would be considerably more useful to me if the aforementioned functionality was an option when buying the board.

A lovely peice of kit - recommended

For 8 Channel Signal Monitor

I finally had the need to use this device to debug a stripboard mounted system -- and it helped me locate an address line being pulled low due to a track-cut that had the tinyest slither of copper still bridging it.

I liked how the device showed floating inputs, and the surprise feature of a voltmeter.

I wish it had 32 channels, instead of 8, but that's like asking for a moon on a stick (and probably add a lot to the reasonable cost - and if I really needed that feature, I would order three more)!

The documentation could be a little better (such as explaining each menu item), but after some button pressing, it soon became apparent how to use the different modes.

For 8 Channel Signal Monitor

The 8-channel signal monitor is a fantastic replacement for multiple LED-resistor pairs and also fills in where I don't want to pull out a my logic analyzer. The display is clear and setting up couldn't be easier. This tool is literally plug-and-play. HIGH RECOMMENDED!

So happy this is a thing

For AVR UPDI Programmer with 12V

I love being able to continue pursuit of tinkering with new attinys since starting out with small pic and avr chips. This programmer eases the step into surface mount and the updi-interface of newer mcus like the attiny 0/1 for compact and power starved projects. The second uart seems like an afterthought, until you realize this is a huge asset - all communication with your tiny project handled by one gadget - great!
I never found a single document or web page documenting the programmer entirely, but there are schematics and other hints to lead you along. The 6-pin connector is the updi, with vdd, vss and updi, the flat connector at the end is the second uart. Not sure what polarity the 12V switch is yet - either way works until you fuse the attiny pin away from updi, afterwords you can just try both positions, I guess. The "first" uart is updi (on my linux box), the second one is the second uart on the board.

Beautifully simple and clean layout - works well

For ATmega328PB Development Board

Purchased two each of 16 MHz and 20 MHz versions, and wondered if I would have to use ICSP for programming the fast one - but that wasn't necessary.
I found a description somewhere else about installation into the Arduino IDE; you will have to enter the URL of a json file - then it goes automatically. (Go to menu File / Preferences and enter the address in the field Additional Boards Manager URLs). I then had to fiddle with the baud rate setting in the file boards.txt - it was the variable atmega328pbcc.upload.speed that had a wrong value. (Perhaps something you could clear up and put somewhere on the web page, Paul? - or have I overlooked something?)
It is great to have access to three 16 bit counters in this small package! A 20 MHz clock gives a nice round period of 50 ns which simplifies some scenario. On the other hand: I moved a project from an ATmega2560 to one of these boards with the code hand-tuned for a 16 MHz clock - its not so simple that faster is better!
I prefer the clean port numbering scheme over the Arduino pin numbers - but it is handy to have both in a spreadsheet file when you allocate pins and resources for your project; many libraries refer to Arduino pin numbers.
These boards are very much recommended.

Excellent piece of gear, great price

For Oscilloscope Current Probe Adapter

The Oscilloscope current probe adapter is an excellent accessory to go with any oscilloscope, the type of connections onboard are perfect and it seems to be extremely responsive. The only 2 things that would be good to change would be optional simple acrylic case similar to those available for the bus pirate. The other would be an onboard boost converter so that it didn't a separate power source for current measurements above the input voltage, although i understand this would add much complexity and cost.

Perfect for those 14 pin SOIC ATTiny's

For ATtiny 14pin SOIC-to-PDIP adapter

I recently got a batch of tiny SMD ATTiny24A's and needed a way to prototype easily with them.... and this is it. It plugs in a standard breadboard, has a 6pin ICSP header and a zero-insertion-force socket to hold the chip in place. I am new to programming adapters, so it took me a couple of tries to place the chip and the cable in the right direction, but now that i got it right, it's all good.

Predictably, when you are facing the "ATtiny SOIC-to-PDIP14" silkscreen markings, you want your pin 1 (marked by the little hole) at the top left.

Leonerd was very helpful and friendly too, so that's cool too.
