I'm an educator and maker from the US Pacific Northwest. My day job is as a middle school engineering teacher, and my side hustle is as a web/embedded systems software engineer. I've been designing code and circuits since I was a kid, and I was lucky enough to work at Parallax Inc. for a few years and I now work with Piper Learning on web and product design.

For CH559 USB Host to UART Bridge Module

Quick response and great support. when I emailed questions about the device, I usually got the replies either the same day or the next. After ordering and receiving the device, I realized it's a USB host and not able to directly connect to my Windows laptop with common USB cables for uploading firmware. fortunately, with the detail instructions provided by the service support, I was able to build the firmware at the laptop and upload it to the device successfully. I did a quick test with my Apple Mac. the device worked the way I expected.

Amazing product

I got this thing so I can play around with my camera from a distance. Right now, I'm just figuring out how to get it all set up.

A good online buying experience

For CH559 USB Host Breakout Board

I took this straight out of the bag and for a quick test hooked it up to a FTDI 3.3v TTL to USB serial converter and plugged in a USB keyboard and a wireless mouse, I monitored the inputs on a terminal program and could quickly see I was getting the correct data from both devices.

I am extremely pleased with this purchase, the people at MatzElectronics are super efficient and great at communications for these three things alone they deserve 5 stars.

I can make headway quite well with the provided github link but if anyone has links to more examples using this product I will certainly check them out.

Incredibly easy to use

For CH559 USB Host to UART Bridge Module

Really found this to be super easy to use, I was up and running with grabbing USB HID information from my mouse in a matter of minutes with the source code examples and easy to connect device. Highly recommended, definitely don't think twice about grabbing one of these if you need to get input from a usb device, it's a no brainer!

Awesome module for a great price!

For CH559 USB Host to UART Bridge Module

Works exactly as described, just make sure you wire it up correctly (I mistakenly connected TX to TX0 and RX to RX1 on my Arduino).
Luckily, the seller has amazing support and quick response times, and helped me troubleshoot my issue. Would definitely buy this product again!
