My name is Michael Moore. I am a freelance embedded software engineer.I have about 10 years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer (or Firmware Engineer), and I have been doing contract/freelance/consulting work for the past, 5 years now.
I started out at a medical device company where I wrote drivers, and GUI code for a Critical Care Ventilator. After that I went to an Industrial IOT company where I worked on products that remotely monitor oil and gas pipelines. I’m currently working on an aircraft radio test set.
In my free time I like to design electronics hardware and software. I have made a few boards in KiCAD and Eagle, including a custom split mechanical keyboard.
