Ok, but

For Lenovo charging port Type-C PD X240 X250 X260

Works fine with 65W adapter, but only with 65W.
It should be clarely explained the adapter designed for 65W will not be able to work with anything less (e.g phone charger).
Anyway, product fits well, do what its intend to do, so I highly recommend this seller!

Simple fix to update your Thinkpad

For Charging Port Type-C Lenovo PD T420 T430

My T420 had a broken charging port, so what better way to fix it than with a USB-C port. Makes it much easier to charge without having to mess with carrying a Lenovo cable around. Installation of the port itself is super easy and the fitment is great, however the documentation on actually tearing down your laptop is something that could be better. I ended up having to watch a few different T420 teardown videos to get the full picture on how to remove the case from the magnesium chassis to access the ONE screw that holds the charging port in. The documentation on the Github is essentially "take laptop apart, install part", which was a bit funny but not very useful.

All you really need is a screwdriver and a pick / spudger for this job, so if you are moderately handy (and can keep track off all the different screws), then go for it!

Finally only one power supply needed while traveling

For Lenovo charging port Type-C PD X200T X201T X200

I recently "inherited" Thinkpad X201 that was no longer in use but in perfect working condition.

This has become my notebook while traveling (excellent keyboard, reasonable screen, fast enough, reasonable size, excellent build quality - that's Thinkpads for you ;-). If I lose it or it gets stolen, at least I didn't pay anything for it and there's not a lot of data on it anyway.

The only drawback: It still used the old charger (with the round yellow plug), so I had to carry an additional power supply to the one I use for my mobile.
Using this adapter (and a USB-C power supply that can deliver 3A at 20V) I now carry a single supply for all my devices - just great!

Fitting the adapter into the machine was somewhat tricky, as I had to take the machine apart quite a bit and the adapter was a really tight fit, but easy enough.

Thanks for this nice piece of hardware!

(( Shipping took 6 weeks - a bit long, but at least it didn't get lost. I used videos on replacing the fan on the X201 as documentation. Communication was not needed. ))

Works in T440s with modification.

For Lenovo charging port Type-C PD T440 T450 T460

I installed this in a T440s with an i7 and used the 90w model.
Some minor modifications are required:
Original socket housing height: 6.32mm
USB-C socket housing height: 6.66mm
I used sand paper to sand it down to the correct height. Not difficult as long as you have sandpaper and a tool to measure.
I also had to use a razor blade to shave down a small plastic lip running the length of the socket housing in the case. You'll know what I mean exactly when you are installing it. Doing both of these modifications allows the housing to be installed perfectly and the case closes tight like stock.
It is also worth mentioning that the cable bundle is larger than stock so it is a tight fit but it will fit.

Works in X220

For Lenovo charging port Type-C PD X220 X230

I have an X220 with an i5 and installed the 90W version since all my chargers are 90W. It works well and even powers the laptop with no battery inserted. Installed with no modification but the wires are longer than they need to be so I had to fold them a bit.
