This is THE board to get, for extreme low power consumption
For MicroWakeupper Wemos D1 LiPo Shield (Deepsleep)
I've been using this board in a project since early october now and have had no issues. Initially i had misunderstood how a feature was working, but after asking about it on Github, I quickly got help and could continue.
I'm using it to power up/down a D1 Mini Pro when my mailbox is opened. When the mailbox is opened, the D1 Mini Pro (running ESPHome) boots up sends a ping to my Home Assistant server with battery voltage. Instead of using a Li-Po battery, which would require some battery protection, I've opted to use 4x rechargable AA batteries. The first reading i got on this was back in early october, where the battery pack was at 5.33v.. They are now at 5.27 after serveral mail deliveres, -15 degree (c) temps over a week etc.
This product is the perfect companion if you wish to have Extremely low power consumption in your project!
