Blinkenlights is (gradually) becoming ASCII Modular. I'm still me :) but I feel that 'ASCII' better reflects the stuff that I love. My modules are going to be marked with one name or the other for a while, but during the pandemic lockdown I've changed my design style radically so there will be improved, simpler and (I think!) better looking modules being released over the next few months.
Constantly playing with electronics and microcontrollers my entire life, I discovered the world of Eurorack and decided to build my own complete synth from scratch. I'm exploring many tangents on the way to that dream, and these modules are the results of those tangents. With a background in art, electronics and coding, I realised that synths were the missing link in my life.
