The USB cable continuity tester (type A to type B cable) functioned as advertised when I used it to test some cables. Shipping was not a problem as it arrived in a bubble pack with no signs of damage to the package or the contents. There was an insert that was brief, but complete. The documentation gave the official product name and a picture of how to use it. What more is required? Communication was a few emails. Everything was as expected, so I first thought to give a three star (all ok) rating. Upon pondering the star ratings, I rejected their labels and went with a five star rating (as expected with no problems) as most advertising exceeds the actual product delivered. As the device is simple, I do not expect to have any problems. As the device uses a lithium coin cell as a power source, replacing it should not be needed for years as lithium cells have a very long shelf life (up to six years). I intend to check new and repurposed (unplugged and reused) cables (I change things around less than once a year). How often do you check your USB cables?
