Fine little thing

For uThing::VOC Air Quality USB dongle

It is working like described, but I didn't change anything so far nor did I integrated it in my HA.
The messured values seem to be ok, no runaways noticed so far.
Documentation is -as I see- complete.
Nice feature is the online dashboard. You can read the Sensor without software installed. Its a bit hidden in the documentation..
Well, one negative:
the Firmware wasn't the newest.
I like the sensor and its handling. Plug'n'Play.

Thanks for your review! Good to know that you found interesting the online dashboard.
Regarding the FW version: which version does the devices output? v1.2.5 is the latest one for the first revision of Hardware, new boards (rev.2) should have v.1.3.2 (I should probably have changed the mayor version in order to identify the hardware revision, sorry for the confusion).

Neat tool

For uThing::VOC Air Quality USB dongle

I ordered this last year and it arrived in the USA recently, after a very lengthy delay (I was warned, so it was expected).

This is a very nice little product with a simple serial readout interface. I verified higher IAC and VOC readings by sticking some solvent underneath it and watching the numbers go up while I let it run. I have it hooked up to my Raspberry Pi and am looking forward to making some nice dashboards for it! Thanks for a nice little product, I hope you make (and sell) more of them.

Works perfectly

For uThing::VOC Air Quality USB dongle

Well designed and manufactured, perfect for prototyping.
Although on older (Win7 and similar) machines you still have to write the reg file to make it work, which could be provided, it just works from that point on and the interface is quite clean.
The standard protocol is quite clean and the three formatting options seem more than enough for getting stuff going.
I havent gotten into the firmware yet, but the whole device is designed with "hackability" in mind, so I am looking forward to that!
