Really lovely
For Minimalist Playdate Stand
I've been using my stand for 10 months now. I have been using an extremely small, "temporary" desk for all that time, and the first thing that appealed to me about this stand was its diminutive footprint. I also liked that the stand's creator was so committed to Panic's/T.E.'s design vocabulary, going so far as to perfectly match the original magnets and metal screws, making the Playdate and its stand look like a single contiguous object. The stand adds very little height or bulk to the Playdate console itself, lifting up the Playdate just high enough that you can sneak a right-angle usb-c charging cable under there. Though it probably wasn't necessary, I added a bit of nonskid tape to the stand's foot (as I do with every item on my desk, haha). At this point, the Playdate is now my primary clock; I love the angle of the stand, perfect for glancing down at the time. I admire it every day :)
